Next meeting of the Bagley Area Chamber:
Thursday, January 28, 2027 – DaRoo’s Pizza at Noon
At the last meeting on January 22, 2026 it was decided to change the way the Bagley Area Chamber will operate going forward. The chamber will continue to support events promoting businesses in Bagley and will continue the Bagley Bucks program. The chamber will continue to seek contributions from businesses through the annual membership campaign in October.
What will be changing is that the chamber will seek other community organizations that have more volunteers to coordinate the city-wide rummage sale, Boo Bash and Holiday Lights Tour. Those events do not directly promote businesses in Bagley. The chamber will look at other ways to directly promote business in Bagley by using member contributions to support advertising of legacy chamber sponsored events and expenses related to new, business focused events.
One meeting will be held each year in January to determine how funds will be used during that calendar year.

Bagley Bucks
This is the front of a Bagley Buck. They may be spent like cash at participating Bagley Area Chamber members (listed on the back side).
Bagley Area Chamber members can then redeem the Bagley Bucks at First National Bank – Bagley, the same as cash.
The benefits of being a Bagley Bucks participant are:
- You can generate traffic from those who win Bagley Bucks as prizes or gifts;
- Your business is advertised on the back of each Bagley Buck;
- Your business is eligible to host registrations for Bagley Bucks, which draws customers into your business, and your business is also advertised as a registration site.
Bagley Bucks are awarded by the Bagley Area Chamber as prizes during the Christmas shopping season and for a few other promotions. They are also sold by the Bagley Area Chamber and are great for awards to employees; bonuses for employees; gifts; and incentives. Bagley Bucks can be purchased at First National Bank – Bagley (see Sherri Maruska, Bagley Area Chamber treasurer).
Note: Some merchants, because of the nature of their business, do not wish to be listed on Bagley Bucks, and some don’t wish to be listed as a registration site. If either is your wish, please indicate your desire to be “exempt from Bagley Bucks” or “exempt from being a registration site” when you send your dues.
